MailCode is a desktop mail client designed for individuals who use their mailbox as an archive. It stores every message on your machine, indexes it, and performs searches without server dependency. The interface is user-friendly with an activity bar, an explorer of accounts and folders, and a dense scannable list.
MailCode is compatible with Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft 365 with modern sign-in, and any IMAP/SMTP provider. It allows multiple accounts in one window or merged into a single All Mail view. It provides a local archive search, full-text search over subjects, senders, bodies and attachment names, and can even find and remove duplicates.
The software enhances readability with conversations as threads, a sentence view that writes each message as prose, and one-key operations for reply, forward, move, flag, and label. It also features an inline preview for images and PDFs.
MailCode helps you stay organized with a priority board for flagged mail, a Gantt-style timeline, flags with due dates and reminders, colour-coded labels, and rules that file, label, forward and auto-reply.
The software aids better writing with a composer that includes tables, lists, colours, images, and multiple signatures. It also provides spell checking, AI assistance, translation services, and the ability to schedule message delivery.
MailCode allows you to manage your storage by showing server capacity, allowing messages to be moved onto local storage or an external drive, and providing control over the sync window and attachment downloads.
Additional features include a calendar with meeting invitations, replies and reminders, contacts built automatically from the mail you receive, matched Dark+ and Light+ themes, and fully rebindable shortcuts.
