There's a lot of good stuff on Etsy, but in recent years it's become overrun by AI scams and dropshippers. It's almost impossible to find anything genuine
Etsy has lots of unique hand-made items. But it is notorious for randomly suspending users. Trying to get unsuspended is an excruciating experience. Their customer service is miserable.
Using a VPN will get you in trouble. They have been known to permanently ban users who don't fall in line with their ideology (e.g. gender ideology). Even if individuals have not broken their terms of service, you may get (wrongfully) suspended. There's no transparency, and they never tell you what you supposedly did "wrong." Instead they simply say oops, we made a mistake. They might as well give the middle finger to their customers.
