Exaroton might just be the best Minecraft server hosting for small to mid-sized servers. I hosted a server for my friends with a lot of mods and the token/credits model really comes in clutch with medium-sized modpacks that require AT LEAST 5GB. Most others have fixed hardware specifications for hosting and I had a lot of issues setting it up without the server crashing midway (Seedloaf and Falix come to mind. Exaroton might just be the best Minecraft server hosting for small to mid-sized servers. Most others have fixed hardware specifications for hosting and I had a lot of issues setting it up without the server crashing midway (Seedloaf and Falix come to mind. They're good but very underpowered with the free plans, and the paid plans are way too much for what we were looking for). Between 3 people we spent around 15$ on credits and we could play during roughly a month with 2-3 sessions per week of 3-6 hours on average, with the server specs of 2.5 cores + 5GB. And there's still credits for 30 hours left. If you're looking to play with small modpacks and a small group but Aternos doesn't cut it, paying even 5-10$ on Exaroton really will be a better experience on the long run. Very recommended. Affordable, powerful, and accessible.
