Folloverse is a monetization platform for creators who publish on their own schedule instead of a fixed monthly calendar.
The core feature is per-creation billing: fans are charged only when you publish a paid post, not automatically every month. This is timely because Patreon is removing per-creation billing for all creators by November 1, 2026 and moving everyone to monthly subscriptions. Folloverse is built as a home for the creators who relied on that model and do not want to charge fans during months when they did not ship anything.
Fans can set a monthly cap so they are never charged more than they agreed to, and creators decide which posts are paid and which stay free.
A single post can also be free for members and pay-per-view for everyone else at the same time. Subscribers get it included in their tier, while non-subscribers pay once to unlock it. Creators can run classic monthly membership tiers as well, sell digital downloads, and gate live chat or threaded forum channels behind a membership.
Other features include a content preview before the paywall, direct messages between fans and creators, and profile customization with custom colors and banners.
Folloverse is free to set up. The platform fee is 0% for the first three months and 6% after that.
