Galerist is a client gallery platform for photographers and videographers. You upload a shoot, publish it under your own branding, and your client browses it full screen, marks favourites and downloads the original files.
Delivery keeps what you exported. Photos are never recompressed, and clients download the original full-resolution files one by one or as a ZIP. Video is streamed adaptively up to true 4K, and the source file stays downloadable.
Every gallery carries your logo, colours and typeface on your own subdomain, so clients land on a page that looks like your studio rather than a shared platform. Galleries can be password protected, given an expiry date, and are hidden from search engines by default.
Proofing covers both photos and video: clients mark their selections, draw on the frame and leave comments in context, and the photographer gets the list back.
AI face search groups the people in a gallery, so a guest can find every photo of one face. It is enabled per gallery, requires the photographer to affirm a legal basis first, and runs on self-hosted infrastructure in the EU instead of a third-party recognition API.
The pricing model is the main difference from the rest of the category. One gallery costs €9.99 as a single payment, with no subscription and no card kept on file, or you subscribe from €11.99 per month billed annually. No plan caps how many galleries you can keep active, and every storage limit is stated in gigabytes rather than advertised as unlimited.
