What is Garlic-Hub?

Garlic-Hub is a self-hosted CMS for digital signage networks, handling media management, SMIL playlist creation, and device control from a single interface. It pairs with Garlic Player, but speaks the open SMIL 3.0 standard, so your content and playlists are not locked to one vendor's ecosystem.

Built on PHP 8.4 and the Slim framework, with strict typing and high test coverage baked in from the start. Since the 1.0 release, it covers hierarchical media organization, a graphic zone editor for multi-zone layouts, datetime-based playback rules, and interactive triggers via touch, click, or network events. No SaaS subscription, no per-device fees, and no cloud dependency, everything runs on your own infrastructure.
