There are more than 25 alternatives to GNUstep for a variety of platforms, including Linux, BSD, Windows, Mac and Chrome OS apps. The best GNUstep alternative is KDE Plasma, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like GNUstep are GNOME, Xfce, Cinnamon and MATE.
