If you want self-hosted web-based callendar software for multiple people, WebCalendar is great option! Although, it is not so feature rich and user friendly as Google Calendar is (e.g. adding events across multiple days need to be dane by manually calculating it in hours) and have problems with internationalization (buggy showing of accented letters).
