Remember that everything you type in there isn't encrypted and google scans all. When it's free, you're the product. (usually)
I agree, hence I built my own alternative. I prefer tools where I have more control over my data and how it’s used.
integrated with Gemini
I used to use Evernote for many years, but they started to limit the number of devices I could use in the free plan. Now I use Google Keep and it works out great for me.
this is undeniably the sexiest of all note apps (tho i have yet to try obsidian. . . will be sure to update you all once a progression has been made)

Google Keep is fine for those seeking basic, bare bones task management. I suppose one of its benefits is easy integration with Gmail & Calendar. But besides changing a note's color, due dates, reminders, & repeats, it doesn't do much else.
After trying out MANY task management apps over the course of 2 years, my current go to is TickTick.
