Holocron

Open source documentation site generator that runs as a Vite plugin in your own codebase. Holocron builds delightful docs websites from MDX pages and a docs.json config: sidebar navigation, Orama search, dark mode, OpenAPI reference, and AI exports. You host the build on Vercel, Cloudflare Workers, Node, or holocron.so. Docs maintenance runs in GitHub Actions: agents update pages when source files change, instead of a closed hosted product. Use it to keep docs next to the code, to give agents raw markdown, or to leave a hosted docs platform without a rewrite. Same docs.json and MDX also work as a Mintlify drop-in. Install with npx -y @holocron.so/cli create. Docs at holocron.so.
