I purchased a lifetime plan expecting to keep my phone number for the long term. Unfortunately, my number eventually expired, and I was informed that I would need to subscribe to a monthly plan to continue using the service. As a result, I lost both the money I had spent on the lifetime plan and the phone number I had been relying on.
What disappointed me most was the customer support. The representative I dealt with was dismissive and unhelpful. I received no meaningful assistance, explanation, or alternative solution only a brief response informing me that my number had expired.
Because of this experience, I personally cannot recommend this company. I strongly encourage anyone considering their services to be very cautious.
In the end, after losing my number and receiving no meaningful support or resolution, I decided to delete my account entirely.
Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience.
I signed up for an account almost a year ago and paid with a credit card. I went to renew and it kept giving me an error ("Something went wrong with your credit card payment") despite using the exact same card as before. I reached out to customer support and they said, "direct credit card purchases are no longer available and your purchase is not being accepted by our payment processors. To make purchases, you can keep using Google or iTunes via in-app purchases."
They never notified me of any change in their terms and (as of writing this review) both their website and app still show the ability to pay with credit card. Unacceptable.
