I've used it with clients to help shrink their email sizes. First, it shows you which folders are taking up the most space. Then you can load those folders and use advanced search to find large files, files from specific dates, etc, and quickly delete those emails. You can even batch download all emails that match a certain search - for example, download all emails from 2013 onto your computer and then delete them off your IMAP server. Outlook is much happier now.
