Interstellar Empires

Interstellar Empires is a browser-based 4X strategy game where you build a base, manage resources, and expand in a persistent sci fi world. The game is set in a universe where humans discovered ancient portals created by another species, each reachable through specific symbol combinations.

You upgrade buildings, research technologies, train ground units for portal missions, and construct starships for larger battles on the galaxy map. Alliances let players coordinate attacks, defend each other, and control shared objectives. The game also includes scouting, asteroid mining, and events that reward exploration, combat, or resource gathering.

The game’s core mechanics combine portal missions using only ground units with galaxy-map attacks led by starships, where space combat decides if carried ground forces can land, and all galaxy attacks are visible to everyone in real time on the map.
