iPano360 Stitcher

iPano360 Stitcher is a free panorama stitching application for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit, no installation required). It merges overlapping photos taken with any camera — a phone, a DSLR or mirrorless camera on a panoramic head, or a drone — into a single 360° equirectangular panorama.

The program automatically detects matching points between the photos, calculates the position of each shot on the sphere, and blends them at full resolution using multi-band blending. When automatic stitching struggles with a difficult scene, you can step in manually with control points, include/exclude masks, and horizontal or vertical line constraints to straighten the image.

Main features:

• Automatic stitching of photos from any regular camera, with roughly 30-50% overlap between shots
• Manual control points, masks and line constraints for difficult scenes
• Automatic exposure matching between shots and lens vignetting correction, with an optional HDR look after stitching
• AI-based repair (LaMa): brush over the photographer, a shadow, or a gap in the sky or floor and it is filled in to match the scene
• Built-in 360° viewer to inspect the result before exporting
• Post-stitch editing: rotation, tone adjustment, blur brush, gap repair
• Export as an equirectangular image with the GPano metadata tag, so VR headsets, Facebook and Google recognise it automatically
• Direct upload into an iPano360 virtual tour

Around 22 photos become a finished 360° sphere in about 10-30 seconds on a mid-range laptop, without a dedicated graphics card.

It is aimed at anyone looking for a free alternative to PTGui or Hugin with a simpler interface. Current limitations compared to PTGui Pro: no fisheye lens support, no true HDR merging from bracketed exposures, no viewpoint correction, no batch processing, and Windows only.
