Jupiter-lab is hands down the best Interactive Python development suite.... 100 times better than its predecessor jupyter-notebook. It uses IPython so I am not sure why that is listed as an alternative.
Jupyter is an exceptional tool for data analysis! Its ability to create documents/notebooks make it an invaluable choice. I recommend Jupyter Notebook to all professionals and students who want an efficient and collaborative platform for their analysis and development tasks.
There are lots of books and documentation out there for free about how to use Jupyter significantly in almost every field
