Modern UI book manager which is FOSS
If you like "modern" Win11 / Mobile-like UI, this might be good. I like my programs to have a real desktop UI with a proper menu bar and the like. Has a dark edge on one side of the page, to imitate the fold in the center of a book. But you can't turn it off, and it is present in double page, single page and infinite scroll modes.
PROS:
CONS:
OP-ED: The FOSS e-reader space is dominated by Calibre for good reason. It is the reigning king. I have tried many alternatives, seeking a simpler interface which also allows me to easily sync between devices via cloud storage. Koodo comes close, but its inability to implement footnotes correctly is an Achilles heel for any serious non-fiction reader.
Nice and simple UI. Worse performance
I use it daily, the interface and customisation are great. Books and settings can easily be imported and exported.
it is constantly getting updated in github and has lot of features and it is will exceed Freda ebook reader in 3 years
