What is Krypt by Epicsoft?

Krypt is an AES-256 encrypted vault for iPhone users. It securely stores passwords, notes, files, and 2FA codes on your device without any data transmission to servers or clouds. The vault allows importing photos, documents, and scans, each encrypted individually. It can also scan physical documents to store as encrypted PDFs, ideal for sensitive documents like passports or bank statements. The software offers password management, a cryptographic generator for strong passwords, and a clipboard feature that clears copied passwords after 30 seconds.

Krypt includes a built-in 2FA authenticator to replace Google Authenticator, storing TOTP codes in the same vault as passwords. It supports biometric unlocking and has a decoy vault feature that opens a different vault with a second PIN. Incorrect PIN attempts trigger increasing lockout periods, and after ten failed attempts, the vault deletes itself. Krypt never connects to the internet, syncs to iCloud, tracks users, shows ads, or sells data. It uses AES-256-GCM encryption and PBKDF2-SHA256 key derivation with 310,000 iterations. It also includes screenshot detection and clipboard auto-clear features. Krypt offers a free version, and Krypt Pro offers unlimited storage, file vault, 2FA authenticator, decoy vault, and encrypted backup export.
