Nice app! Configuration is quite flexible, you can use more than one SIP account, and it's open-source.
I like Linphone because it's Open Source, Cross Platform, (free), and pretty stable. Some little GUI/UX/Workflow Improvements could be made, but I'm very picky, so might not be an issue for anyone else. Thank you 🙏
Linphone on Windows is junk. Constantly not responding while just trying to do initial config. Unable to complete setup. If it responds as badly when in use, you'd miss calls.
OpenSource & CrossPlattform
I used Linphone via Flatpak on Debian 9 and it works great. I did not try yet the video, but the SIP works great (sounds quality is very good), and it's easy to use, and OPEN SOURCE !

@DanMan : You can use BLINK as Flatpak and a free and Open Source alternative with X (In Wayland it is flickering so partially working). Linphone works with Ubuntu 18.04 LTS if you do the following things : (It's preferable to use LTS Ubuntu than other versions usually)
1- Install Flatpak for Ubuntu : https://flatpak.org/setup/
2- install Linphone by opening a terminal CTRL + ALT + T flatpak --user install --from https://linphone.org/flatpak/linphone.flatpakref
3- sudo apt install libcanberra-gtk-module libcanberra-gtk3-module
4- sudo apt-get install --reinstall libcanberra-gtk-module
5- sudo apt-get install libcanberra-gtk-module:i386
6- Launch the app
Sadly it can't be installed through their Flatpak anymore, it's been broken for at least 3 months: https://gitlab.linphone.org/BC/public/linphone-desktop/issues/10
Ubuntu 19 only has an old v3 version in its repo, like most distros.
