LIVIN.ROOM is a friend-making app built around real-life hangs instead of endless chatting. There are two ways in. You can explore verified people near you who also want friends, connect, and plan a 1:1 hang — coffee, a walk, food. Or you can join a Room: a small group hang with a set time, a set place and a limited number of seats, so there's already a plan and you just take a seat. Rooms are small on purpose, four to eight people, and every Room keeps a few seats open for people who don't know anyone there yet, so showing up alone is normal rather than awkward. Nothing here needs you to be the organiser or to keep a group chat alive — hangs already have a time and a place. You tell the app when you're usually free during the week, so plans land on days that actually work. After a hang, the group or the person can plan a second one, which is where friendships actually start. Platonic only, and members are verified with a selfie that's never shown publicly. Built for people who moved to a new city, left school, or just want a social life that happens offline. Currently focused on Phoenix, Arizona.
