What is LocReminder?

LocReminder is a free and open-source Android app that wakes you when you reach a chosen destination. Set a location, choose how close you want to get, and let LocReminder alert you when you arrive.

It is designed for bus and train journeys, commuting, unfamiliar cities, road trips, pickups, and errands. Unlike a normal notification, LocReminder uses a real alarm with looping sound, vibration, and a full-screen alert.

LocReminder is privacy-focused: it requires no account, has no ads or tracking, stores data locally on your device, and does not require Google Play Services. Maps use OpenStreetMap.

The app is MIT licensed and available as an APK from the project's GitHub releases.
