MAVO 3D

MAVO 3D is a mobile 3D LiDAR scanning app for iPhone Pro and iPad Pro, designed for AECO teams needing accurate 3D point clouds. The app processes raw LiDAR data in real time on the device using a SLAM-based algorithm, producing point clouds with up to 1mm point density and capturing up to 3 million points per second. It works offline and prevents vendor lock-in.

Key features include high-accuracy 3D point cloud generation, real-time processing, loop closure for large-scale scans, and compatibility with all major point cloud formats. It supports scan-to-BIM workflows and integrates with architectural CAD software. All processing stays on the device for privacy, and it supports self-hosted storage for sensitive projects. Users can embed 2D images, export ortho images, and create 3D flythrough animations. Use cases include as-built documentation, building surveys, construction progress tracking, digital twin modeling, heritage preservation, and scan-to-BIM pipelines. The app is developed by MadVoxel AG in Switzerland.
