Molly is a very good Signal app, but it is not a good alternative to SMS or RCS chat apps since it does not have this functionality. It's great if you want to communicate via Signal, which is something entirely separate from traditional text messaging.

Sleek and feature rich SMS client, with the best (configurable) UI of any messaging app I've seen. Even has advanced features like scheduled messages, which Android Messages is lacking.

Yet another app listed as an alternative to a SMS text messaging app, which doesn't have SMS text messaging capabilities. This app is probably excellent, but it's a poor alternative to traditional text messaging apps when it does not support SMS.
