What is MuseAuthor?

MuseAuthor is a web-based AI writing studio for authors and self-publishers. It guides a non-fiction book through seven steps, from the initial idea to a manuscript ready for Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing.

The workflow covers niche research on Amazon, competitor analysis, keyword generation for each market, definition of the unique selling proposition, a structured outline with word targets per chapter, chapter generation, and guided revision with MuseProof, which shows the original text and the suggested edit side by side.

Fiction has its own studio, MuseRacconta: a Story Bible that fixes world, characters and narrative rules, outlines built on narrative arcs with POV and beats, and a Plot Diary that updates itself after every chapter — so the AI still remembers chapter 3 when it writes chapter 27. It is open to every plan and runs on the same credits.

Books are produced in English and Italian as two separate editions, each with its own manuscript, SEO description, keywords, KDP categories and back-cover text. A cover generator produces high-definition covers, and the finished book can be turned into an audiobook with over 100 voices. Manuscripts export as DOCX for paperback and EPUB for Kindle.

The free trial gives you 20 credits, no card required. A one-time purchase of €19 (about $22) adds 40 credits valid for 12 months. One Book Plus, a €39 one-time purchase, adds 100 credits — enough for a whole novel translated into the second language and revised. There is no subscription.
