TypeSeer

TypeSeer is a system-wide AI autocomplete for macOS that predicts the rest of what you're typing and shows it as grey "ghost text" in almost any app — Mail, Notes, Slack, Safari, Messages, Word, and more. Press Tab to accept the suggestion, or just keep typing and it gets out of your way.

What sets TypeSeer apart is that it runs entirely on-device. The language model lives on your Mac's Apple Silicon, so nothing you type is ever sent to a server — predictions work offline once the model is downloaded, and the app never suggests text in password or secure fields.

TypeSeer also learns how you write. It quietly studies completed sentences — your vocabulary, names, and phrasing — and weaves them back into future suggestions, all stored locally and clearable in one click. It's fluent across 15 languages, detecting and switching language mid-document without any manual toggle, with its own dictionaries for spelling and word completion in each.

Beyond autocomplete, TypeSeer includes text snippets (type a shortcut, get an expanded phrase), instant word completion, inline spelling fixes, and optional local grammar checking.
