A very intuitive package, easy to use. Unfortunately, newer versions are malicious.

  • CVE-2022-23812
  • GHSA-3mpp-xfvh-qh37 The code got injected with malware that overwrites files in major version 10, and creates "junk file" in major version 11. These are intentional by the maintainer, and there is absolutely no documentation or change log about this. The maintainer is not responsible with his actions. Please lock your node-ipc package version to 10.1.0 (clean version) by running npm i node-ipc@10.1.0 --save-exact Support Ukraine not as an American, but as a global citizen. Support Ukraine through helping, not harming. Slava Ukarini.
