NoteFly is a very basic desktop-only sticky notes program.

  • Saves all notes in C:\Users ``\NoteFly ... hidden folder
  • installs itself in "Control Panel" .... no options.
  • is not portable ... so testing it requires a full install.

NoteFly needs a lot of improving by the developer incl old bugs. NoteFly 3.0.7 was last updated in mid 2013 ... looks like the developer has lost interest The download reports all dates as your download date, even in Virus Total Details The only honest date is when it is installed and the About page confesses to 2013

Notefly has been moved to Github ... but no downloads there. It looks like the developer abandoned Notefly atleast 5 years ago.

NoteFly is a small advance note taking application that allows you to create sticky notes. Features:

  • Very small application. (Less than 300kb setup) If .net framework 2.0/Mono is installed.
  • Create beautiful notes with several skins to select.
  • Make notes stick on top.
  • Make notes transparent.
  • Create e-mail of note.
  • Resize notes how big or small you want it.
  • Syntax highlight for notes that have code snippets.
  • Fully xml based (does not need windows registry, except for running on logon)
