Obooga is a big, round, sweetly incompetent monster who knows everything about stories except what actually happens next. That's where kids come in. In a ~20-minute session, children ages 6–12 rescue his unfinished story by making every creative decision including where it happens, who they meet, the creature they invent, the plan, the twist, and the title. The result is a real illustrated book "Written by [child], with Obooga" on the byline. It's shareable free with family, with an optional printed hardcover of their exact story. This isn't a personalized book like Wonderbly where a child's name is inserted into a fixed plot, and it isn't AI writing stories at kids: it's a child-authored book, and the difference is the whole point. Parents stay in control and children stay protected. There are no child accounts, no ads, no strangers, and minimal data (a first name for the story; a parent's email only if they choose to save their library). Every story world is written by humans and every illustration is human-reviewed before launch. AI appears only in narrow, guarded moments, smoothing the child's own words into a sentence, speaking their name aloud, and drawing the one picture they describe themselves.
