The free version is more generous than ParseHub free: you can do 10,000 pages in Octoparse versus just 200 pages in ParseHub. It is suitable for e.g. scraping biodiversity data, and is able to get the metadata for each record behind the links in a multipage lists search results. Setting up a workflow is done visually by point and click, using automated workflow helpers, and via "Tips" that prompt options. Getting the Workflow set up properly is a bit finicky. Unfortunately the Help focusses on visual examples from eBay, when I actually needed a discussion of how to assemble the Workflow structure. It saves to Excel among other export options. Although I found it takes a while to get the hang of it, once it works properly it is a very useful tool. Four stars -- one taken off because the Help needs more focus on 'coding' the Workflow structure, so you have to do a fair bit of trial and error yourself before you fly. But once you're there, it's 5 stars.

Octoparse is a great web scraper, it fulfills the function that it claims in its website. It offers three versions of product, containing 1 free version and 2 paid version. Paid versions contain more powerful features, and the price is very worthy.
Dear, I tried this software, and i can assure it is very good for scraping data from web pages. No cood is needed, very simple to use, and very important very good support staff and video tutorial. Very good and thank you for your help octoparse, Enrico Italy.
