Opti-Behavior is a self-hosted behavioral analytics and conversion optimization suite for WordPress. It brings together in one plugin what normally requires several SaaS subscriptions: a real-time analytics dashboard, heatmaps, session recordings, conversion funnels, form analytics, user journey analysis, error and Core Web Vitals monitoring, A/B testing, and automated behavioral recommendations.
All visitor data is collected and stored on the site's own server. Nothing is sent to a third-party analytics provider, so the site owner remains the sole data controller. The plugin offers a cookie-free tracking mode, an anonymous mode that stores no personal data, and automatic detection of the major WordPress consent banners (Cookiebot, Complianz, CookieYes, Borlabs Cookie, Real Cookie Banner, Moove GDPR, Cookie Notice, WP DSGVO Tools). This makes it usable as a GDPR/CCPA-friendly replacement for Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, Mouseflow, Lucky Orange or Inspectlet.

Form analytics: automatic detection of Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms, Forminator, Ninja Forms, Everest Forms, SureForms and native HTML forms, with field-level drop-off funnels
User journey analytics: Sankey flow diagrams, top path discovery, entry/exit page analysis, page grouping
Error and performance tracking: JavaScript errors with stack traces, friction events, Core Web Vitals per page, broken link detection
A/B testing: page-split, element and WooCommerce tests with conversion goals and Bayesian statistical analysis
Smart Insights: a weekly prioritized optimization briefing generated from the collected behavior signals

I installed Opti-Behavior on a client site last week. It's one of the few heatmap plugins that runs entirely on your own hosting — no data goes to a third party.
