Awesome platform for classifieds. Easy to manage, wordpress-like backoffice, fast, clean, intuitive.... SUPERB
Osclass is #1 in world of classifieds scripts. It has great features, is easy to install, hundreds of plugins and theme available, FREE!
Obviously this project is dead. The official website has been closed since fall 2019, it seems to me.
Saw the "closed since 2019" comment. Fair — the original project did stall then.
Osclass got picked back up. There's a public changelog on osclass-classifieds.com with regular releases since then, including full PHP 8.5 support in 8.3.1. Still the same lightweight PHP/MySQL classifieds script. It's not abandoned.
From 2019, delivered hundreds of updates, improvements and fixes. Whole Osclass ecosystem is VERY LIVE, actively working on improvements of existing plugins, developing new ones, recently released Eta theme with beautiful design. We already have backlog plan prepared for upcoming years and Osclass will get much more features in 8.4 version that will be released in Q4 2026.
Definitely the best solution there is to create a classified website, lots of plugins and good enough themes available.
