What is PalVivo?

PalVivo is a free language exchange built around speaking out loud with the same person, week after week.

You say which language you speak and which one you're learning, and PalVivo finds your mirror image: a native speaker of the language you want who is learning yours. The matching is done for you, on the two languages, on interests you have in common and on the times you are both free.

Sessions run 30 or 60 minutes on video and are split evenly between the two languages, so you each get the same amount of practice. When neither of you knows what to say, conversation cards drawn from the interests you both picked get things moving. After the call you each say privately whether you'd like to meet again; when you both do, the same slot next week is already booked.

English, French and Spanish. It runs in the browser with nothing to install, and it is free: no card at signup, no paid tier, up to two sessions a week.
