What is Preterview?

Preterview is an AI mock interview tool for developers and job seekers. Three AI interviewers ask the questions out loud, and you answer by voice.

Before the session starts, the interviewers read your resume or portfolio and the job post you are targeting, so the questions are about your own projects instead of a generic question bank. While you speak, Preterview counts filler words like "um", tracks hesitation and pace, and asks follow-up questions when an answer is thin. When it ends, every answer comes back with a report: what was weak, why it read that way, and an example of a stronger answer, plus a skills radar for the whole session.

Two more tools share the same account. Portfolio review scores your work across five dimensions the way a recruiter reads it and quotes the lines that hurt you. Resume builder rewrites your bullets around impact and exports an A4 PDF.

Portfolio review is free once a day with no credit card, and resume polishing is free within a daily limit. There is no subscription: a full mock interview costs five passes, and passes are $6.99 for five, $19.99 for twenty, $39.99 for fifty. Purchased passes stay valid for 90 days, and unused passes can be refunded within 7 days.

Korean, English, and Japanese are supported, including a Japanese entry-sheet (ES) review mode. It was built for software engineers, new grads, bootcamp graduates, and bilingual candidates preparing for coding, behavioral, and AI-screened rounds.
