What is Radar by Skyhook?

Radar is an open-source Kubernetes UI that runs as a single Go binary - no account, no in-cluster agent required, nothing to assemble. Point it at a kubeconfig and it shows a live model of the cluster: grouped Applications, Issues folded to their root cause, topology, an event timeline that keeps history past the default 1-hour TTL, Helm operations, GitOps state for Argo CD and Flux, live service traffic, image filesystem inspection, cluster audit checks, and Kubernetes upgrade-readiness checks.

Radar also ships a built-in MCP server, so AI agents (Claude, Cursor, Copilot and others) can read the same cluster model - token-optimized, read-only by default, respecting existing RBAC.

The binary runs on macOS, Linux and Windows, as a desktop app, or in-cluster for team-wide access. Apache-2.0, free forever. A hosted option (Radar Cloud) adds multi-cluster fleet views, longer retention, alerts and SSO.
