This player is the worst in my opinion, I see it everywhere still trying to get it self installed in Windows machines through people that dont read during installation. Its slow and its features arent good. Id stick with the Windows player if youre on windows and if you dont like it like myself then switch to a better option.
This program consists of many significant minuses and CANNOT be a worthy alternative to any video player.
Minuses: 1) there is NO miniature preview window on the timecode;
there is NO memory of the last timestamp of watching/listening to the file (the moment from which the user stopped watching the video or listening to audio);
there is NO technology to improve the quality of videography, like PowerDVD (advanced) or VLC (primitive);
there is NO setting for changing the playback speed of the file;
there is NO technology for playing corrupted files, unlike the old, Classic Microsoft Media Player.
Pluse - opens WMV and TS files, unlike PowerDVD and MMP.
If one wanted to use Realplayer on PC and Android, one would need to opt for their SUBSCRIPTION-PLAN of min. $4/month. Everyone should know that one can host ones files on ones own media-server - no freaking subscription required! Paying min. $48/year just for the ability to sync your music, that is quite pricey. Here is a suggestion for Realplayer: Allow people to use their own storage & charge $5/year for the service of updating Realplayer for PC & Android.

'RealPlayer is now RealPlayer Cloud'. But it's still crap.
I think Real Player includes the best codecs for ra/rm/rmvb files I know that VLC(as a player with internal codecs),and K-lite Mega codec pack (as a codecs package with internal player "MPC HC" ) is even better than Real Player by many times BUT Believe me people I am voting for Real Player just because its ra/rm/rmvb codecs nothing more and yeah If some one says that we got "real alternative" which you think it brings what real player could do away from junk Then I say no no that is fully stupid because look at the name people it is "alternative" so Can any one ignore Real Networks
efforts for upgrading Real players internal codecs ????The only people who use RealPlayer are those who don't know that you don't have to install bundled software when installing an application.
