ReVanced Extended

Hey! Most people have problem with the downloader, but it's not that it doesn't work, but rather take extra steps to make it work. You need to download a 3rd party app like NewPipe for example, then connect NewPipe to ReVanced Extended and then the downloader will work.

Here is how you should do it:

Settings ReVanced Extended Overlay Button External Download Settings NewPipe [1] Install [2]

• Go back to External Download Settings again after installing NewPipe from the GitHub Repository page.
• Click on "External Downloader Package name" The path should be "org.schabi.newpipe"
• Click OK. [3]

Now you can download any video from the Download Icon on the Screen ✅ I wish it was easier, but yeah... you have to do some extra steps to download videos on ReVanced Extended

[1] you will have the option to download any app you want from multiple App Options, one of those options is NewPipe and that's the one I use so let's go with it. [2] It will take you to a GitHub repository of NewPipe. Download it. [3] If you already have NewPipe then just use the path mentioned in the "External Download Settings" page under NewPipe name. The path to NewPipe is "org.schabi.newpipe"

Note #1: If you already have NewPipe on your phone then ReVanced Extended will automatically fill the path when you click on "External Downloader Package name" and all you have to do is click on "OK" but thought about explaining it in details just in case ReVanced Extended doesn't automatically fill the path when you click on "External Downloader Package name"

Note #2: I already tried all the other Apps option that ReVanced Extended give you on the "External Download Settings" Page. Same method works on all the other apps.

Personally, I like NewPipe it's the fastest and lightest since I will only use it for downloads only.
