They are switching to a yearly subscription model. Half a gamepad per year for one device. That stinks.
If you bought a key, you can keep using it.
Yeah they've actually disabled the "lifetime access" keys they sold for $20USD, just a criminal company never buy anything from these assholes
Coming from PGP (Pinnacle Game Profiler) because it won´t launch on newer Windows 10 builds, this has a nicer UI but features are lacking behind that even Xpadder has. The most expensive controller remapping software afaik. It isn´t worth the money. If you can use it, PGP is the tool you should consider. Second place Xpadder. Third place Steam
The only thing ReWASD has got going for it is building a virtual controller out of two or more controllers.
Other than that, it lacks even the basic options you find in other device remappers, like pressing a key for a set number of milliseconds.
The interface, while pretty, is clunky and has frustrating limitations: you can map a sequence of actions to a button being pressed but not to a button being released for example. The program is split into sections, solely to make it look cheaper than other options like Xpadder at $9.99, but to get any comparable functionality, you have to buy addons which takes the price to double that of Xpadder (which is of course forgetting that the last version of Xpadder - which is still more capable at mapping keys - is available as a free download).
Disapointed purchase. At double the price I assumed it would be at least as capable as Xpadder. I was wrong.
Now they want a yearly subscription too, this company is pure evil.
easy to use with lots of features
Pointless waste of $20USD. This program is: - cut apart to nickel & dime you - badly made - unstable - obsolete post-steam - $20USD - redundant - sold by virus peddlers at Daemon 0/10 this app is absolute trashware. Avoid. All functions and more can be done with Steam for free.
Oh and the devs will randomly force you on to new unstable bugged versions to try and enforce their ridiculous anti piracy fanaticism! App doesn't work? Who cares? Gimme $20!
DISGUSTING.DO NOT BUY.
The only software of its kind I've used so far that "just works."
The downside is that it isn't free and perhaps not as flexible as some alternatives, but it does everything it says, is clear and easy to use, and more importantly for me has worked with every device and piece of software I've thrown at it.
Fortunately, Universal Control Remapper (with the latest pluguns) exist. Same, easy to use.
If you want free, look elsewhere. This costs money.
The software itself is absolutely GREAT.
It worked for about a week for me, then asked me for a license key. They want 6 bucks. Not a lot of money, but still about 6 dollars more than I would pay for software that does a heck of a lot less than many other free applications.
