Seedream

Seedream is a multimodal AI image generation and editing model developed by ByteDance Seed. It is designed for creating detailed visual assets from text prompts, sketches, annotations, and reference images, with a focus on professional design and production use cases.

The model can generate high-density infographics, educational posters, UI mockups, technical diagrams, storyboards, commercial visuals, and photorealistic images. It supports spatially aware editing through point selection, lasso selection, box selection, sketches, color and material references, layer separation, and multi-image fusion, allowing users to make targeted changes without regenerating an entire image.

Seedream 5.0 Pro also includes improved image-text alignment, structural coherence, text rendering, photographic realism, portrait textures, and multilingual input and output. It supports localized visual generation across several languages, including English, Chinese, French, German, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, and Arabic.
