    I’m really excited to try this once it launches. Being able to just paste in a URL and get a real crawl going, with no signup or card required, sounds fantastic. The fact that it actually renders the page in a browser and sees it more like Google or a screen reader does makes this especially interesting.

What is Seodar?

Seodar is a web-based scanner that audits a site for technical SEO and accessibility problems in a single crawl.

Enter a URL and it crawls up to 25 pages with no account and no card. It renders JavaScript in a real browser and obeys robots.txt, so it sees pages the way a search engine or a screen reader does. The result is a health score — 100 minus weighted penalties — and every finding named individually rather than bucketed into vague warnings.

SEO findings are grouped into five categories: indexability, metadata, content, links and media, and performance. Accessibility checks run axe-core against WCAG 2.2 level A and AA, covering contrast ratios, missing form labels, heading structure, link and button names, landmark roles and image alternatives. Each accessibility finding cites the WCAG criterion behind it. Fixes are ordered by likely payoff rather than raw severity, so the list reads as a to-do list rather than a report.

Paid plans raise the crawl limit and add rank tracking, Google Search Console and Bing data, AI-visibility checks showing whether AI assistants know the site, and custom rules.

Seodar reports what it measures and does not present its output as a legal compliance certification.
