Social Daily Poster

Builds LinkedIn post drafts from coding-agent sessions, screenshots, messages and voice debriefs. A private Telegram bot provides approve, edit and skip controls, and previews optional illustrations before publishing. It can also adapt the story for X or prefill Reddit.

What is Social Daily Poster?

Social Daily Poster is a self-hosted, open-source alternative to Taplio and the other AI tools for LinkedIn. Instead of asking you for a prompt, it looks at the day you already had.

Every night it harvests your coding-agent sessions from Claude Code or Codex, your screenshots, and optionally your Telegram, Gmail and WhatsApp, plus a spoken debrief you can record after a call. It picks the single best story out of that material and drafts a post in your own voice.

The draft arrives in a private Telegram bot with Approve, Edit and Skip buttons. Approving also draws an illustration and shows it to you before anything is public. Nothing publishes on any channel without a second tap. Once the LinkedIn post is live, the same story can be rewritten for X and prefilled for Reddit, each with its own approval and its own on/off switch.

It runs on one laptop for one person with no server, or on a shared server for a few people. Posting goes through the official LinkedIn and X APIs rather than a workaround that risks your account. Drafting rides on the Claude or ChatGPT subscription you already pay for, so the running cost is close to nothing. Python 3, MIT licensed.
