What is Stacklight?

Stacklight is a native iOS, iPadOS and watchOS app for monitoring and controlling self-hosted services. It connects directly to each service's own API over the user's network, with no backend server, no account, and no telemetry. Credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain and the service list syncs through the user's own iCloud account via CloudKit. The App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected."

It ships with 23 integrations:

Servers/NAS: TrueNAS, Synology, Unraid, Proxmox (VM start/stop/reboot), Docker via Portainer (container restart), Linux host via Glances

  • Network: Pi-hole (enable/disable blocking), AdGuard Home, Nginx Proxy Manager, OPNsense

  • Media: Plex, Jellyfin (stop session), the *arr suite, Overseerr (approve/decline), qBittorrent + Transmission (pause/resume)

  • Docs/Photos: Immich, Paperless-ngx

  • Monitoring: Uptime Kuma, Scrutiny, Bitaxe

  • Smart home / dev: Home Assistant (automations + toggles), Gitea

Each service has a detail view tailored to its data, with actions where the API supports them, rather than a single uniform status list.

Other features include multiple endpoints per service with automatic failover (for example a LAN URL plus a VPN or reverse-proxy URL),trust-on-first-use certificate pinning for self-signed certificates, a read-only Apple Watch app, and four themes each with light and dark modes.

Free for up to 3 services; a one-time purchase unlocks unlimited. No subscription.
