Great source of classics and other public domain material that have been formatted and edited for consistent readability, compatible with just about any eBook reader. I've read several books from here and they've all looked great.
All their eBooks are edited and proofread manually by volunteers, not just auto-converted. I've looked into their contributor guidelines: they're very exacting. (Disclosure: I'm considering contributing a book or two when I have time.)

They make the best free ebooks around. Period. The amount of effort and dedication out into their books is astounding. Supports many formats from kepub to Amazon. Seriously underrated
