Brilliant piece of software. I tried half a dozen FFMPEG GUIs and none of them have been as easy to use yet so configurable as this one.
Extremely intuitive, can make your own presets, can configure how the output is put out and supremely fast. Kid me would've sold a kidney for this type of software yet this is free and ad-free as well. Unbelievable stuff.
I mostly deal with WAV, FLAC and MP3 and this software has done everything perfectly, the tags are the same and the covers are also the same! Oh and there's a nice number of themes built in, the look of the software can change drastically, love that.
No complaints whatsoever. Hope this doesn't get nuked or anything.
I used this app to batch convert mp3s into lower bitrate. This is the only FOSS I could find on this site that allows to select a folder tree as input, and then recreates this structure at output.
Supports opus, which is hands down the only relevant format as of today, because it outperforms all of its competitors. Also super nice user interface, easy to use but still customizable if you know what you are doing. Unfortunately not ranked higher
