What is The ID Toolbox?

The ID Toolbox is a set of browser-based utilities for people who build training courses. It reads published e-learning packages - SCORM output, Articulate Storyline and Rise packages, and PowerPoint decks - and answers the questions that come up around them: which images have no usable alt text, what the course will cost to translate, why an LMS rejected the package, and what is actually inside a published course when the source project is lost. It also covers the surrounding caption work: converting between SRT, VTT and DFXP, checking whether captions run faster than anyone can read, and splitting overlong lines.

Everything that reads a file runs inside the browser itself. No file is uploaded to a server, which is what makes the tools usable on client and internal course material. There is no account, no email capture, no ads and no paid tier.
