Transcribe builds a transcription tool made for research interviews rather than general audio.

It runs several speech engines in parallel on the same file. Where the engines disagree, the transcript flags that moment with a timestamp instead of silently picking one, so you listen to the contested seconds rather than replaying the whole recording. Key entities such as names, brands and technical terms are checked against the web.

Coverage is 27 languages including English, and there is one price for all of them: $3.00 per hour of audio, prorated to the exact second, so a partial minute is never rounded up. The rate is locked in at upload and failed jobs are not charged. New accounts get free minutes to test with — 180 for a company or academic address, 60 for a personal one — and no card is required to start.

Post-processing options turn a raw transcript into research material: rewriting into a first-person narrative, and redacting sensitive content.
