TrickyBird
A free web proxy that opens a blocked site in your browser tab. Your address bar shows a TrickyBird address, with the site address encoded into it rather than spelled out. A 3-step leak test shows you that.

Been using this for a couple of weeks, mostly to read news sites and watch clips on a work network that blocks half the internet. It opens the site in a normal browser tab, so there is nothing to install and nothing to sign into, which is the whole reason I keep coming back to it instead of asking IT for an exception.

I like the simplicity and speed of the app. There are some rough edges, but overall, I think the app is the best on the market.

Been using this for a couple of weeks, mostly to read news sites and watch clips on a work network that blocks half the internet. It opens the site in a normal browser tab, so there is nothing to install and nothing to sign into, which is the whole reason I keep coming back to it instead of asking IT for an exception.
The thing that surprised me is that the address bar never shows the site I opened. I checked, it is our own domain with the destination encoded into the path. My network sees a connection to one host and that is it.
What does not work: anything with DRM. Netflix and the rest are a dead end and the site says so up front rather than letting you find out. A couple of heavily bot-protected sites also stall for me. For reading, video and normal browsing it has been reliable.
4 stars, not five, because the DRM gap is real and because I have had to reload once or twice on the first page of a session.
Thanks for the detail. The address bar is deliberate. The destination is encoded into the path on our own host, and the rewriting keeps the target's name out of what the page loads afterwards.
The reload was a real bug, not your network: the first page of a session could come back as a protection screen and needed one refresh. Fixed and live this week.
DRM we name up front on purpose. It is outside what this is built for, not something we are quietly working on.
I like the simplicity and speed of the app. There are some rough edges, but overall, I think the app is the best on the market.
Thanks. The rough edges are the part worth hearing about, so if you remember which sites or what went wrong, say and we will look.

Thanks, glad it did the job!
Amazing, the most quickly proxy for games, youtube and social media
Thanks! If any of those ever stops behaving through us, say so here and we will chase it.
