It's hard to install, hard to maintain, there is no package manager nor updated versions of the lastest packages. It's not a rolling release, not fixed, it's a complex and good system for uses that want huge stability and total control of the system. it also doesn't have systemd as init system, it doesn't have grub, it's totally different from Ubuntu and most distros. Not good for newcomers or casual users.
