What is UniSim?

Development, validation and rapid prototyping of automation systems.

UniSim is a development tool for automation projects compliant with the IEC 61131-3 standard. UniSim allows the creation and validation of projects and the rapid prototyping through editing, simulation and control tools.

The development tool (UniSim DevApp) allows the creation of projects through graphic editors, by creating Program organization Units (POUs) and via the configuration of a resource (i.e. a device). UniSim DevApp also contains a simulation engine that runs programs, by acting as a real automation plant controller, and letting the user monitor its state and read variables' values. UniSim uses XML Format for IEC 61131-3 for storing and loading project files.
