Unwatched provides a great way to keep track of all of my favorite content creators on YouTube. One of my favorite features, however, is that I can watch YouTube videos inside the app without ads. This app is continually improving with multiple features being added since I downloaded it. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to watch YouTube on iOS without ads!

What is Unwatched for YouTube?

Unwatched for YouTube is a video player that operates on an RSS feed basis and is compatible with iOS, macOS, and tvOS. It offers "The Queue" feature which eliminates autoplay and algorithmic feeds, allowing users to line up videos in their preferred order. Users can follow channels or playlists with automatic updates for new content. The "Triage" feature lets users decide where new videos should be placed in the queue or inbox. Users can also choose to hide #shorts.

The software allows custom playback speed adjustments per channel for different content types. For example, trailers can be viewed at 1x speed and podcasts at 2x speed. It also supports chapter navigation, allowing users to jump to any chapter or selectively watch certain chapters.

Other features include Picture-in-Picture, drag and drop functionality for videos and channel URLs, shortcut support, continuous play, notifications, a sleep timer, and custom themes. Users can import YouTube subscriptions and sync preferences across devices with iCloud Sync.
