I paid for it 14,99 and I can't use it. It is a liar and a thief company. I don't recommended at all. Don't take Viddly Free Downloader. There are thieves
It works quite well. Sometimes videos/mp3s take much longer to download (30 minutes compared to the usual 2 or 3 minutes). I can't tell why. It seems arbitrary.
The worst thing about Viddly and the reason why it only gets two stars is because they had a recent update where you can choose to participate in a resource-sharing scheme or view ads in order to keep using it for free. I chose to see ads several times over and it would still use my CPU resources at around 40-50% of capacity in the background even though I opted out of resource sharing. At this point, Viddly is basically malware.
I have been using it and the previous version of the downloader. I can get to see the person who is doing the entertainment.
Support needed at beginning, never have been able to use it. 3 tickets open, no response. They take your $ and there done. it SUCKs don't fall for it. 😡😡😡😡
I was happy with Viddly until they renewed my subscription, changed the version and now it hasn't worked for 2 months. I've put in help desk tickets 3 times now and still no response from them. Not happy at all! This never happened when it was just call YouTube Downloader.
Viddly seem to work okay. But support is horrific. Slow to respond... if ever. I have 2 requests to get my license key so i can install on my new pc.... no answers. I am about to give and get something else.
Support sucks, they take your money and there done.
I can't remember the site where I found Viddly. Primarily, was looking for an alternative to the WinX Youtube down loader which had gone seriously pear-shape after several years. Also, it was hopeless downloading .mp3 which I had to play later and record with other software as I played the sound.
PROS.
CONS. At this stage, I fully recommend it and plan on buying the lifetime subscription after anoth2 or 3 week trial.
