Vidima is a native desktop application for Windows and macOS that creates Swiss QR-bill invoices and keeps double-entry accounts for freelancers, sole proprietors and small businesses in Switzerland.
It runs fully offline. Invoice and client data is stored on the local machine rather than on a server, and the application does not require an internet connection to operate. Optional end-to-end encrypted synchronisation between a user's own devices is available on the multi-device tiers.
Features include Swiss QR-bill generation following the SIX standard, Swiss VAT handling at the 8.1%, 2.6% and 3.8% rates, credit notes, CAMT.053 bank statement import for reconciliation, and data import from bexio and Banana. Each generated invoice carries an ECDSA signature that can be checked by a third party through a public verification page.
The interface is available in Italian, German, French, Spanish and English.
Vidima is sold under a one-time licence rather than a subscription: CHF 149 for one device, CHF 299 for three and CHF 990 for ten. All v1.x updates are included. A 30-day trial is available without a credit card.
It is developed by Helvecraft, an independent software studio in Switzerland.
